My Approach

Alan utilizes Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) which is a short-term form of psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through the use of REBT and CBT, Alan helps his clients identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings, challenge the rationality of those feelings, and replace them with healthier, more productive beliefs.

Alan seeks to establish an honest and caring therapeutic relationship in a respectful and thoughtful manner with his clients who seek transformative change. His direct interactive and no-nonsense approach to therapy is highly regarded by his clients.
